Gina Espenschied RN, BSN, CNOR

Gina recently moved back to Pennsylvania after living for 10 years in New Jersey. She graduated with a degree in nursing in 1995 and continued her education after beginning her perioperative management career in 1999. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The State University of New York- Excelsior College. Mrs. Espenschied continues her schooling, currently working on her MBA from the University of Phoenix. She began working in the ambulatory surgical arena as a clinical manager then transitioned into an administrator role in 2007. Most notably, Gina won the 2010 Outpatient Surgery Award of Excellence in Financial Management for her and her teams turnaround of the center at which she previously held the position of Administrator. Gina married her husband Mark in 2001. They are the proud parents of two children, Max, 7, and Hannah,3 and one dog, Abby, 9 who they rescued from the animal shelter. When she's not working or spending time with family, you can find Gina teaching at the local YMCA or running and biking.
